Transflective TFT

LCD lighting methods include: transmissive, reflective, and transflective.


Compared to emissive display technologies such as OLED displays (organic light-emitting diodes) and VFDs (vacuum fluorescent displays), LCDs require a light source such as sunlight, artificial room light, or an integrated backlight, which is typically made of LED (light-emitting diode) semiconductors . Therefore, in the application of different products, different lighting modes need to be customized according to different scenarios. LCD lighting methods include: transmissive, reflective, and transflective.


How to understand transmissive, reflective, transflective, and the differences between them?
